We have a busy church and members are involved in a large range of activities. Recently priority has been given to youth projects and outreach. We aim to be an active and caring congregation and we hope that our main activities, now listed, help to reflect this:
- Women's Group
- This vibrant group, under the banner of the Church of Scotland Guild, has 80 members.
- Men's Club
- The aim of this popular club is to promote Friendship and Christian Fellowship.
- Flower Club
- A Flower Group was started after the very successful "Flower Festival" held in Cadzow in 2001.
- Cadzowyouth.org
- This venture for teenagers has been a major success with 6 of the current 12 members joining the Church in 2007.
- Sunday School
- In our busy, happy school we teach children aged from 3 years up to High School age.
- Boys' Brigade
- In our Company we cater for boys aged 5 - 18 years. Anchor Boys are particularly numerous.
- Brownies
- Our Brownie Pack is run for girls aged 7 - 10 years. The girls enjoy a fun time under careful supervision
- Rainbows
- As can be seen from the photograph below we have a fine set of rainbows to enrich the church.
- "Drop In" Centre
- As part of a Hamilton Churches initiative teams from Cadzow attend this centre every Sunday night to feed and care for the homeless.
- Outreach
- We support the Hyzone Youth Project and issue, quarterly, the "Cadzow Times" to the parish.
- Christian Aid
- Every year major input is made to fund raising events throughout the town
- Fair Trade
- A fair trade stall is set up in the church every month
- Christmas Fayre
- Every year a major fund raising event is held just before Christmas
- Adult Education
- Adult education classes, covering a range of topics, have proved very popular.
- Church Magazine
- Quarterly, "Cornerstone" is issued. It deals with church news and issues of our Faith.
- Thursday Coffee
- Every Thursday morning members meet in the church halls for coffee and a chat.
- For the Energetic
- We run weekly badminton and "Keep Fit" classes.
